Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
Generally we only supply the UK, (excluding the Channel Islands). If you would like to purchase an item and live outside the UK then please please send an email of your requirements and we will try and help you.
We accept card payments. At present we have an upper value limit of £300 per transaction.
We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship when paid by Visa or mastercard. Payment by Paypal is taken at the time of the order.. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone. We also accept cheques, please print off invoice and send in post.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling We currently charge £4.95 for shipping and handling of products within the UK (excluding Channel Islands). For all other destinations please email your order so we can give you a quote.
Delivery Schedule We deliver your order right away. We aim to send out within 2-3 days of the order but in some circumstances this may be up to 14 working days. We will keep you informed of when you are likely to receive delivery.
We do not normally accept orders outside the UK. If you are frorm outside the UK then please email with your details and what you would like to order and we will endeavour to supply you.
You will be notified by the delivery method which is either through Royal Mail or via courier and expected day of delivery.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order/invoice number in all correspondence.
We are happy add special delivery requests but these are at your own risk.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges VAT is included on all orders which is currently 20%.
Credit Card Security When paying on line by credit or debit card the data is sent to Shopify Payments, powered by Stripe which is approved by all the major banks. The system offers high levels of security - 100% PCI DSS compliant, 3D secure capable.
GardenSelect does not have access to any credit card details that are entered online as your card details are entered directly onto the approved Actinic payment system. GardenSelect only holds details of your order and address that are needed to complete an order.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or mis-described.
Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.
